This is really impressive. The majority of plants are tomatoes, but how they plant and harvest them, this is really interesting. more that 30% of the tomatoes in Myanmar come from here. You should visit.

While traveling around the lake you pass by these vey clever gardens which float on the surface of the lake & from what we saw produce an abundance of fresh tomatoes! Very interesting to see.

It's really interesting to see how these fresh green tomatoes are grown on the floating farm and how the locals make their living around this plantation. What's better is those are privately owned and almost every family has their now tomato garden.

It was very interesting to see òthese floating veg patches on Lake Inle. They grow more or less everything there and then you can see all the boats delivering the veg to different markets and shops. loved it!!

My wife and I enjoyed a half day trip on the lake for about 10 dollars. What a deal, so much fun. The trip includesthe floating gardens, floating villages, restaurants, shops, and many sights. This is a must do when in town. great time.
