Amazing,interesting place where you can visit there.Pagoda is the same like Thailand style statues,foreigner entrance fee is 3Euro/USD. Come and visit there you will feel wonderful about the pagoda and local market is nearby

Unfortunately you can only go there by taxi, since you need a registered guide as well. I was there on a budget too, and I found 2 people to share the taxi and than it's okay. And it is totally worth it!!

As far as my own experience goes Myanmar people involved in tourist industry are all reliable, polite and honest no matter whether it is A,B or C. Things may change, who knows. . .
