For us a bit further than itambuca but so different. This beach has a more difficult access, not many parking spaces but the beach is wild and beautiful, in an arc shape. Waves were strong when we visited.

The water is luke warm. This beach has some nice wavy spots in the middle, water is calmer on the right end. You can rent a yakak and head out. About 100 meter out on the water you've the chance of spotting some turtles.
