Walking with a lot o people. Shops. diversion, movies, walk along. A hole Sunday to do a lot of things. Good restaurantes, Art musseums, departament stores.

It is a very large avenue with restaurants, shopping and a very nice Library, the Cultura. The avenue had also some expositions in the Moreira Salles building.

Paulista is the typical big city main street with a lot of people walking around, at frantic speeds. Full of small and medium businesses and with a couple of important museums as well. Kobra's Senna mural is in one end, definetely a must see

They close the street to cars on Sunday and and have live bands and street performances after noon. Very good time.

Easily accessed via subway. A wide variety of upscale stores line the streets. Sundays the street is closed to traffic and open to street vendors (with jewelry, food, etc.), and music.
