Expetionally amazing!!!!!! Rafael's enthusiasm and passion for sharing São Paulo is definitely a highlight of my Brazil trip! The route was perfect though it was sad when the tour ended. I can't put into words how wonderful the tour was... you just have to go!!!!!

We joined the Sao Paulo Paulista Avenue Free Walking Tour.
Our guide Ellie was excellent. She brough a binder with her showing us the 'before and after' along Paulista Avenue. We found the world's 1000th McDonald's over there.
History might be boring but Ellie made it sound very interesting when we learned the development of Sao Paulo.
She was always wearing a SMILE! Good job, Ellie.
I would highly recommend anyone to join this tour. You will have an in-depth knowledge Sao Paulo.

I enjoyed getting information of the history of Avenue Paulista which contextualised the present changes and adjustments well. Very informative and well paced tour!

Great tour to Vila Madalena. Our guide Eli was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Not only she gave explanations in regards to the tour, but also answered genral questions about day to day life in Sao Paulo. This is a great program and any tourist coming to Sao Paulo would benefit from it. Thanks Eli 😊

Cannot recommend enough! We had Rafe for our tours and he was excellent. We did the Graffiti tour in the morning and the Paulista Ave in the afternoon. His knowledge was very detailed and he was a lovely person to talk to throughout. These people are a credit to the city of São Paulo and they deserve generous tips. The tour was recommended to us by a fellow traveller and we are very grateful for them.

Excellent! Our guide, Elly, was interesting, knowledgeable, charming and witty. The tour itself takes in most of important historical buildings (old and modern) and certainly isn’t arduous. Thankfully we toured on a pleasantly overcast day so it wasn’t too hot 🥵 which I can imagine would be uncomfortable. Although we saw many homeless Elly was very reassuring and we never felt unsafe. I would say this is the best way to see and get to know the city for a first time visitor

This was a great experience. So good I’m doing another one with them on another day. The guide was knowledgeable, helpful, they started right on time, and we learned a lot. Downtown São Paulo can be confusing by yourself and the tour was perfect. They also gave some good tips for being street wise and coming to the area on your own.

A warning to visitors interested in the São Paulo Free Walking Tours: although Trip Advisor indicates the tours are available on multiple weekdays, the saopaulofreewalkingtour site indicates that Vila Madalena and Av. Paulista tours are currently only offered on Sundays, while Old Downtown and Ibirapuera tours occur only on Saturdays.

Hi guys, I want to take the tour on Saturday (the Old Downtown) Is there a fast and secure way to get to Republica Square from the Guarulhos Airport besides Uber or taxi?
Thank you.

Green shuttle buses connect the GRU terminals to the GRU train station. A pedestrian bridge leads to the tracks. Special trains leave at 9am, 11am, and 1pm. They take you to the LUZ station, where you can transfer to RED Line 3, and then get off at the REPUBLICA station. Fast and mostly secure, if you can catch the trains in time, but you might not want to carry around much luggage during a walking tour.
I was tricked on the fruit stall in the main market in SP. Is there a way to denounce or at least making others aware so that they do not fall under the same trap?

This actually happened to us as well. Maybe some warning about how you get scammed there and the overpriced amount they charge you for almost no fruits could be given during the tour already.

Eu participei do tour.

Vale a pena!
Me chamo Maria Tereza.
