This place was listed as a “must see”in a tourist brochure. We almost thought that it could just be hyperbole. But no! This place is the number one place that we visited in São Paulo. We ensured we were there for the free, guided, one...More

One of the most beautiful buildings in São Paulo. Recommended is to take the guided tour to learn the history of the building. Only bad point was that we couldn’t see the main room because of a rehearsal going on at the time.

Inspired in the Opera House from Paris, this theather has and special and splendorous architeture. There are guided tours but you have to be enrolled. Check the visiting hours and arrive early. Enjou the tour. It's really interesting!

Besides its beauty, outside and especially inside, it tells us a bit of Brasil's moments 100 years ago. I recommend the guide tour to have a flavor of it.

The theater is really beautiful. It has been recently restored, we had a guided visit and is free. Getting there at night is a bit of a challenge. The area surrounding the theater is dark..
