Really liked this fort. I've seen a few now in Brazil and this is in good condition and worth the walk. Great on a sunny day with the tide out.

Well, I went there to see the fortress and to be honest it was not what I expected. The forte is very old and has old cannons on the top and the view was great. I am not into old things and history. Great view...More

Great view, safe and pleasant construction. There was no selling point for water and food, so take some. Also be aware that it closes at 4pm in localtime

The Reis Magos Fortress is a little way out of the city, it has been carefully restored and there is much to see. Care has been taken to preserve.

This attractive ruin is very picturesque but all good interpretive materials have been removed, plus recent (?) archaeology work in the floors has left ugly sandy pits -- what did they find? Also large piles of rock in the courtyard. View from above is excellent,...More

Although the fortress in itself looks remarkable from the outside, placed in a very strategic entry point to the bay, there is hardly any conservation, with faded painting of the statues in the central chapel and an overall sense of abandon. Should get a proper...More

On my city guided tour, this was one of our stops and worth checking out. The history is interesting, especially the canons used by the Portuguese.

This is a small fortress on the outskirts of Natal. To be honest, I have only seen it from the outside but that was good enough. Beware of security if you go there on your own.
