It should be included in any tour of downtown Rio de Janeiro. It initially housed the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and currently is a museum and theater owned by Banco do Brasil, the state bank. Eventual expositions are usually interesting. Parking is not available.

Amazing cultural center with beautiful exhibits located in a renovated bank space, built in 1880, with neoclassical inspiration in the old business center of Rio. The quality of the exhibits is first class. Be careful wondering around CCBB. Recommend a taxi ride back and forth.

Downtown Rio is the place where this city was born.
With modern skyscrapers sharing space with historical
buildings and landmarks, this neighbourhood is living
proof that the old and the new can live together
harmoniously. As you would expect, downtown is where
