We had Patrick as our Samba teacher who was very passionate and fun! The samba class is a small group and you can learn some simple moves but also have fun at the same time!

I attended the class in late June 2015. They took us to Carioca Da Gema (which is also recommended in Lonely Planet). However, they made it seem like they rotated the places based on the day inside Lapa District.

It is a walking distance but never do that. Take a cab, it does not cost much.
