Great history about the local fauna and flora but the highlight is riding a boat up to the falls. You can choose wet or dry ride. Pic the wet one!

Definitely fun! I decided to go because it cost about the same as walking the trails (so ridiculous) and it seemed better to spend the money on the boat trip. The drive through the woods was mediocre, the guide stopped 2 or 3 times to give us info about a few plants we saw. Then we walked about 1.5km on... More

We booked the tour through the Belmond Hotel, where service and personnel are excellent; the more we were disappointed by the quite senseless tour - I agree with the critics asking "why" - the boat ride itself is great fun, but the rest is dull and not interesting; the staff is completely uninterested in what they are doing or in... Well worth the effort getting there, eco-friendly as much as possible, but the boat ride "INTO" the bottom of the falls was worth it...completely different image of the falls from down there!

The best bit about this tour is the boat ride up to the falls. Whilst our boat chose to be completely immersed under the falls there is a choice to not get wet. It was a great way to see the Iguaçu Falls up close and to see the approach from below the falls. There are lockers and change rooms... More

We wanted to do a boat trip and approach the iguazu falls from the downside. Actually, a friend of mine recommended to do absolutely a boat trip to the Iguazu falls, even if its expensive. So,my expectations were very high. Unfortunately they were not satisfied. With Macuca, we first did a walk (nice, but not what I was looking for),... More

Did the speedboat tour. The 20 minutes on the speedboat is great, and lot's of fun. Do the wet tour! Bring a GoPro if you have one. The drawback is the fact that the tour takes >2hours, and you spend a lot of time waiting. It seems that they try to fill the time because the tour is rather expensive.... More

My wife and I have been to Niagara Falls as well as Victoria Falls - none can compete to Iguassu's splendor. See it from the Brazilian side as well as the Argentinian side and wonder in awe about it's creation. Macuco also offers an optional ride on the river itself with a spectacular veering into some of the falls themselves.... More

Just do it. Got close and personal to the falls on the Brasil side. Brilliant tour. Got soaked. Fun fun fun. Not to be missed.

Thank Natalie S
