The distance that separates Santarém from Alter, is approximately 35 km. Access by paved road. Arriving in Alter from the ground we will walk through the village, visit the handicraft shops and contact with the villagers. We recommend wearing light clothing, bathing suit and sunscreen. Free time for bathing in the Tapajós river. On this tour is included mineral water.

A nice spot to relax and enjoy the day. Shady spots available and no one bothers you. Bonus is the cachaca bar just up the street at the wide end in the middle, one block away.

It is just a park. It is a nice place where you can have a walk or pass some time but nothing special. You cannot call it an attraction it is just a park.

On Sundays the park has a unique crafts market where you can find lots of interesting things. Also funny on Sundays is the dogs day out. Through the week it's very quiet and at night a bit scary to be.
