Great stadium which fills with exotic moths. Only downside is the screens are tiny and the score or time is not displayed anywhere.

Nice arena. Went for a futbol match during Olympics. Signs state rio Olympic store was inside but NOT the case. (IOC missed the boat on this one! Disappointing) Staff replenishing paper products in bathrooms was iffy. Not a lot of food choices even for an...More

we visited this new Arena of the Amazons when the opening games of the Olympics hadn't started - the football/soccer matches started before the official opening. We had a lot of fun in this stadium - atmosphere is great with Brazilian public. Well organised and...More

We visited this stadium a few weeks shy of the the US women's Olympic soccer team arrival. The outside is fittingly shaped like a white soccer ball. It's truly a lovely stadium. The pitch inside is lush and green and the seating partly shaded by...More

High end stadium for a city that doesn't have soccer team. But if it happens to have a game while in town, it's worth a try. Great place. It can be hot sometimes, but at the same time you can feel some wind.

I gave it a 5 because I'm a football fan, but it is currently closed for tours due to the 2016 Olympics/Paralympic Games, just like Maracana Stadium in Rio.

I traveled to Brazil with a group of college classmates for a mission trip. While there, we went to a local soccer game at Arena Amazonia. I was amazed at how big the stadium was, and can't imagine how loud it was when it was...More

With all its financial troubles, Brazil built a dozen stadiums for the FIFA World Cup but there's little use for the stadium now in Manaus.

The arena was built for FIFA World Cup, but there is no regional league, so no regular games. No tour available, so if you want to take pictures, only from the outside.
