Nice park that is easy to get to. It overlooks the sound and you can see much from the park. I was surprised to even see an Eagle on the tree branches.

Coming from San Juan Island to Anacortes what Washington Park had couldn't compare to San Juan Island. The view from Sunset Beach was nice

Lots of trails for walking, hiking, biking- nice 3 mile paved loop trail-also many trails through the woods. Picnic areas on the water with great views.

Great hiking trails including loop road throughout. You can drive through if you don't feel like hiking (10am til dusk). Have a picnic on the NW end of the park. Great whale watching location. Stop at the overlook facing S over Burrows Channel. Climb down...More

This was a nice place to walk around the lake. Good for picnics, of just a relaxing afternoon after several days of more strenuous hiking.
