This is a great little park to watch the sunset or watch the ferries come and go. We were there in October - too cold to swim, so I can't vouch for the beach.

This is a lovely place to walk or drive and experienced some wonderful view points. We drove around the loop around sunset, and it was nice to get out and take some pictures at various lookouts. This is the most beautiful thing to do while...More

We visited Washington Park twice, and drove to several view points. The hike round the park is about 2.5 miles. There us a little beach, and it's fun to watch the ferries coming and going. The viewpoints are beautiful and my husband saw a dolphin...More

This is a beautiful big park along the water's edge, owned and maintained by the city of Anacortes. There is no admission, just drive in and do a loop or park in one of the many spaces throughout the park and enjoy the quiet forest...More

Washington Park is a city owned park of Anacortes, WA. They have a really nice boat ramp. There is a $9.00 parking fee (pay station on site) unless you are camping in the park. You can boat to the San Juan Islands from this park.

Beautiful stunning park , not very busy, wonderful walk around the cove but beach access is small . Still a nice quiet place to take in all Washington has to offer and is beautifully maintained.

This park has a nice forested drive with great water views. It's a very narrow road with a few tight turns, so trailers and large vehicles are prohibited. A lot of people seem to use it as a walking trail. For all these reasons, you...More

This is a day use park right on the water with a playground and a boat ramp. It also has a camping area with beautiful sites in the trees. And, there is a gorgeous drive around the perimeter with views of the ocean inlets.

My wife and I camped here for five days. The 2.5 mile loop road around the park has many great views and places to sit by the water or hike. I would have rated the park a 5 except for the fact that the campground...More

Any sites not booked are first come, first served. I would call the site and find out how many sites are left and get the best advice from the staff there. We have had good luck after 2 or so, but are always camped by 4.
