The owner of the house/museum is remarkably knowledgeable about the history and legends related to Halloween, as well as about the artists that created many of the works. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and depth of the collections....More

There are some really great pieces here but they are buried under all of the other stuff. It’s a beautiful old house jam packed with a Halloween hoard. The owners live on site and seem like nice people but the whole thing seems disjointed.

Called Castle Holloween, but there is much more. They have the machine that took Tom Hanks back to his teen years in the movie "Big". They have many well known art sculptures and posters (Wish I took notes to remember their names) that were beautiful....More

Just visited here last weekend -it is amazing! Would probably have to visit at least 10 times to really see everything. A very cool collection of vintage and modern Halloween momentos -from movies, candy, games, TV, plays, you name it. Our hostess, the Halloween Queen,...More

Unbelievable collection of (mostly) Halloween objects but also included are a Harry Potter and Night before Xmas room. The Halloween Queen herself, Pamela E. Apkarian-Russell, gives an interesting and very fun tour. If your headed to Altoona, PA get reservations and make a stop there.
