Pamela Apkarian-Russell is THE authority on Halloween history and collectibles. However, her multiple books on the subject do little justice to her actual collection, which numbers in the thousands (maybe tens of thousands) of unique items from the 17th century to the present. Everything you've...More
The owner of the house/museum is remarkably knowledgeable about the history and legends related to Halloween, as well as about the artists that created many of the works. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and depth of the collections....More
There are some really great pieces here but they are buried under all of the other stuff. It’s a beautiful old house jam packed with a Halloween hoard. The owners live on site and seem like nice people but the whole thing seems disjointed.
If you love Halloween. This is the place to visit. Tour can be done in an afternoon. You do have to call ahead and make an appointment to see. I scheduled a tour for when I was going to be in the area. I collect...More

Unbelievable collection of (mostly) Halloween objects but also included are a Harry Potter and Night before Xmas room. The Halloween Queen herself, Pamela E. Apkarian-Russell, gives an interesting and very fun tour. If your headed to Altoona, PA get reservations and make a stop there.
