Wow, what a waste and an insult to the cities past. I guess because these were "greek" ideas, the city government doesn't want to do any up keep on these ruins. If you've been to Mykonos and seen the windmills there, you are in for...More

We walked up the hill to this beautiful place, there is an amazing view over Gümbet and Bodrum, although it's such a shame how (young!?) people are totally trashing this place! Don't forget to sit and enjoy a nice cool freshly squezzed orange juice at...More

Not far away from Bodrum city center, like 2 km, this location is excellent to get a fantastic view of the bay as well as the close-by islands. Most of the windmills are in terrible shape... however the views compensate it. Sadly, the place around...More

The view from here is superb, but the windmills could do with some attention. Although one appears to have been renovated recently, the others are falling apart. There is someone selling soft drinks but not a cafe or loo. We walked up from Bodrum marina,...More

The windmills are a lovely place to go to for sunset and they overlook two bays. Be warned that there is lots of broken glass around though.

The windmills are all individually owned, so are in various state of repairs, depending on the financing of their owners. They are interesting to walk round and see and the views from here are fantastic. Do try a cup of the freshly squeezed pomegranate juice...More

Anyone visiting Bodrum bay will see the old windmills on the skyline . In the last few years they have been fully renovated and are worth a visit ,a sight of old working Turkey .

Windmills from the fairy tale! They can be seen from different sides, so cute on the hilltop; I saw them even from the yacht returning to Bodrum Marina after boat trip. Look picturesque and nice. A symbol of a place.

The wind mills are in really bad shape. I walked the hill from Azka and was very disappointed. they have been trashed and vandalized. It is a good place for a picnic though.
