If you don't speak Japanese take the free audio guide. It tells you what the displays are about, but not the details of the exhibits. Watch the 9 minute film in the second room for a background on the run up to the war. The...More

A good museum to visit after a long walk around the park. A lot of interesting things to look at and the staff are friendly and provide English speaking electronic guide.

Perhaps the name Osaka International Peace Center also known as the Peace Center contributes to it being slightly off the radar when it comes to Osaka Museums, but during our recent stay in Osaka I googled "WWII Osaka Museum" and that's how we found out...More

As previous reviewers have stated it is impossible to visit this museum without being moved by the first hand accounts of suffering in Osaka during WW2. However there is little mentioned about the cause and effect of the war. Apparently displays were changed in 2015...More

felt this attraction was underrated by tripadvisor - we were a group of 5 Canadians and all found this museum very informative and insightful. there are free English audio guides and the museum offers a very unbiased representation of Japan's involvement in the WWII conflicts....More

Fascinating. It's about the Us bombing raids on Osaka. Dreadful consequences. Horrific. But no mention of why. The content is absent. That's what makes it fascinating. Do go.
