Good observatory and weather permitting you will get a good view of the city. Unfortunately we had a rainy day so visibility was poor.

If you are going by train and subway, it’s far too far.. go for other Ferris wheels or towers that are more accessible instead.

Walking distance from Osaka station, we visited in the morning when the sky was clear. We got free admission using the Osaka Amazing Day pass which was worth the ¥2500 as the entrance fee is ¥1000. Not a large place, but good for a bird's...More

When I went, it was raining the entire day so I could not see the sunset and I was a bit disappointed. However, the open-deck view of the building would be quite good if it was not raining.

This observatory is a bit off the beaten path but worth the visit. Can be a little testy if you have a fear of heights though. There are 360 degree views from the top. The top deck is outside and it can get cold and...More

I'm torn on this. On one hand, the view of Osaka is cool and the building itself is impressive. On the other hand, it's a. It pricey for a jaunt up in an elevator to an overpriced cafe. If you really want to see Osaka...More

Nothing much to see as it is only 42 storey high. If you have been to other skyline in major cities then you can give this place a missed.

Entry is free with Osaka Amazing pass. Not crowded at all when we went in the morning but potentially a lot more popular later in the day with its night views. You can comfortably find seats and enjoy the stunning view while relaxing even if...More

The Umeda Sky Building has an extraordinarily architecture. There are so many ankles to view it from the ground and take some interesting pictures for free. The observation deck, 1,000 yen, can be crowded, but the view (depending on the weather of course) is magnificent....More

It is not free, but ticketing happens after you go up the building. There are four floors (including the roof garden) that are accessible after you go up the building (before paying), but the top two cannot be seen without... More
