Standing at the cenotaph with a view of the Atomic Bomb Dome is quite moving, reminding us that human life is frail and vulnerable. No more nuclear weapons!

It reminded us the sad history. I suppose all tourists should go there to have a look although you might not stay for too long. Not hard to go there.

Situated between the children's peace memorial and the museum this is a lovely monument. Beautifully symmetrical and the flame symbolising the need for world peace. Lovely spot for a photo with the museum in the background.

Such an intriguing monument with the flame at the other end. Located in the peace gardens so worth a look, bring a hat, if raining an umbrella.
