The walk is lovely and probably also good to rent a bike to see this. We didn't, put off by the number of people we would have to negotiate. The surroundings are lovely and views are worth the walk, although as is often the case...More

Quiet and pleasant place for a walk along the canal on the east side on a cobble stone path though a park. . Beautifull lights in threes and good views. The west side is full of touristic shops.

If you have the time and the energy, share this slice of the lake with the locals and chinese visitors; you wont regret.

A welcomed visit to West Lakes and a short cruise on it allowed those of us on a hectic Bus Tour to soak up this wonderful lush garden and lake setting with it's unique Su Causeway.

Local goverment has spent billions in cleaning up the canals and a good job done well by the authorities. Enviromentally pleasant view all over and it deserves to be named as Venice of the Orient.

Experience life along the canal, which is slowly being taken over by commercial facilities; see how the locals live and use the canal.

On a weekday, before 19:00 o'clock, in Summer, it was not crowded. Of course, there is a lot of people (the place is wonderful), but riding a bike is also possible. Renting a bike is possible at the west side of the lake.

Part of serious West Lake area. Very romantic and clean path. The city has been doing excellent job in keeping this place as is and more importantly, it is very safe to be there any time of the day.
