A market that not only sprawls into the streets but also in the high rise building. The interior shops are top quality at reasonable prices although no real bargaining. Outin the street, there is an opportunity to see every aquarium fish the exist including all...More

Amazing display of cultural exhibits. Wide variety of shops. Worth the trip just to see the people operating the shops. Prices can be negotiated but vendors will not discount as much as other markets I have been to in China.

You'll get all depressed after visiting this place. The animals are treated like garbage, thrown into small filthy cages. The global authorities should be made aware immediately

There isn't much here. A few alleyways lined with stalls to sell a variety of things. Birds and other small animals are common. Some flowers available. A little piece of local culture perhaps.

One of the most interesting parts about traveling in China is the various markets. This one doesn't disappoint, but as usual it is very busy and there are various stalls selling both animals and plants.

I lived in Kunming in the late 80s when the Bird and Flower Market was a narrow street lined on both sides with vendors of birds, flowers, fish, turtles, and all sorts of trinkets. Now it's three levels of shops of all kinds. It's a...More
