Amazing display of cultural exhibits. Wide variety of shops. Worth the trip just to see the people operating the shops. Prices can be negotiated but vendors will not discount as much as other markets I have been to in China.

Locals come here to buy plants, succulents, flower pots; inside the building, some shops sell aquarium fishes and feed; other stalls sell trinkets. Interesting to drop by if you are in the Nanping Walking Street area. Another flower market is ChaJie Flower Market which sells...More

You'll get all depressed after visiting this place. The animals are treated like garbage, thrown into small filthy cages. The global authorities should be made aware immediately

There isn't much here. A few alleyways lined with stalls to sell a variety of things. Birds and other small animals are common. Some flowers available. A little piece of local culture perhaps.

As mentioned by other Tripadvisors, the original building was already demolished. However, the streets and alleys were lined with many shops. When I visited around 08:30am, it was too early as most shops were closed. Only a handful were opened - selling plants and flowers,...More

One of the most interesting parts about traveling in China is the various markets. This one doesn't disappoint, but as usual it is very busy and there are various stalls selling both animals and plants.

I lived in Kunming in the late 80s when the Bird and Flower Market was a narrow street lined on both sides with vendors of birds, flowers, fish, turtles, and all sorts of trinkets. Now it's three levels of shops of all kinds. It's a...More

The Jingxing Bird and Flower Market is near the Expo area and consists of a multi - storey building and with basement parking. Not much of a bird market and more of a fish market and fish accessory market. As the Chinese, likes the fishes,...More
