This is worth doing as part of a tour of Xian including the Bell Tower. It is an interesting building and you need to go inside to see the furniture there.

Take a walk at night and the tower can be seen from all over the city. It looks amazing the lighting is wonderful.

Square is quite busy with vendors but is beautiful at night as it's lit up and glows quite beautifully ,

The square itself is located right at the Drum Tower and Muslim Quarter, and the nearby Bell Tower also is visible from the square. Crowded in the evening during our visit, and the views are wonderful.

If you have seen the Drum Tower in Beijin - no need to specially go there. If not - it worths the detour.

Nice tower with a lot of cool drums. Take your time to read the captions by each drum as they relate to the seasons and are quite interesting. Stay for the show inside where the performers play local instruments and are in traditional costumes.

I love seeing the towers lit up at night. It is a cool view from the top, but you do have to pay a couple USD to get up. You can walk around the balcony and there is a museum at the top.
