This place is located by the Mamayev Kurgan or the Motherland Hill. It has a lot of history inside it and names from the war typed on the walls wait there until you attend the walking troops while they change their shift.
If this had been the only thing I saw while on a two+ week trip to Russia, I would have been okay with that. It probably impacts people differently but the place is so many things all at once. It is a place of hope....More
