Really in Rostov on Don there are only a handful of places which are pleasant and clean. Being possibly one of the dirtiest cities I've lived in. The roads are terrible for car drivers as they are full of holes it's really an embarrassment for the people who live here. Pushkin Street is now a nice place to take a relaxing walk yourself or with family members. There are many cafe's where you can stop and have a coffee or something to eat. The parks which are located near this street are not really what you would call a park as in not so many tree's and no grassy open spaces to sit and relax. In general Rostov on Don isn't a tourist area because the local government reuse to spend money for the people who live here and only interested in filling there own pockets unfortunately.…

I loved this street. A great place to people watch, buy a kitschy souvenir, and enjoy good weather. The silhouette 'ball' at one end is lovely.
