The metro cars are probably the over stock from Moscow. Old and noisy. The new station across the river smells like hell of creosote even after several years after opening. The transport is efficient, but with the old fashioned coins rather outdated. Cheaper than by...More

used it while visiting the city. Worked very well and was punctual, clean and affordable. For us, we were there for the game - England v Panama so it was free on match day.

Not a very big metro, much smaller than the one of Moscow but it has some stations to get you to Kremlin and other sites. There is a new station to take directly to the new football stadium which will host games from the World...More

Not most popular type of transportation in the city, so could be a fun ride back to 1980s USSR. Most of the stations are not too deep, so no escalators, 2-3 dozens of stairs. Stations looks like light version of Kropotkinskaya in Moscow You need...More
