I didn’t have a lot of time unfortunately as I had to meet up with my tour group. Give yourself a few hours and take a guided or audio tour. The detail of these masterpieces is amazing. And Faberge produced more than the infamous eggs....More

The Shuvalov Palace has been beautifully restored as the Fabergé Museum. So many artifacts are to be seen in this museum besides the intricately designed eggs for the last two tsars. Each egg has a story which is related to visitors by the tour guides....More

Of course the Faberge eggs themselves were the coolest part of this museum, however there is also a collection of Imperial goods that are also very beautiful. The museum itself is very neat, especially the rooms with the silk lined walls of red, blue and...More

Quite an amazing display. Never expected to see so many eggs all in one place. Not crowded as it appears the cruise ships do no include this.👍

The main attraction are the Faberge eggs, and they are absolutely stunning. Even if you've seen photos of them many times, photos do not compare to viewing them in real life, up close and at any angle. But in addition to the eggs, the rest...More

Unbelievable what they have created to please the customers (Tzar). Unique masterpieces of art. All is nicely presented and you see a nice and perfect overview of the work the Atelier has done. Take an audioguide you get more and good backgroundinformation.

The building itself and the collection are breathtaking. It would be a mistake to go to St. Pete without seeing this. I had a low opinion of the eggs until I visited Russia and actually saw and learned about them. Now I am a convert.

Probably the largest collection of Faberge items anywhere, including ten fabulous Imperial eggs. Outstanding.

We did not book in advance and like the other respondent, there was no queue. The museum is open 10.00 to 18.00, so maybe worth getting there early.
