The restaurant offers excellent coffees and sandwiches or other snacks. It is a perfect place for a break during a longer visit of the famous Impressionists Exhibition.

After going to the very crowded Hermitage, this museum was spacious, uncrowded and a delight. Works of art that I had only seen in books now appeared before me! Truly a wonderful afternoon.

The French Impressionism paintings moved here from the main Hermitage building, and there are many more exhibits to view. Not to be missed. There are no lines at the entrance, and the museum building itself is a masterpiece. My only complaint is the cumbersome way...More

First the name doesn't tell the whole story, it is a superb collection of french impressionists, perhaps the best collection outside of France. The Monet room is spectacular. Entrance is opposite the Hermitage and free with the hermitage ticket. Sadly this is missed by most...More

There are many rooms along the corridor each dedicated to one of the top impressionists. The quality of the collection is superb and the quantity is amazing. Apart from this, do not miss Caravaggio's The Lute Player. Unlike the Hermitage, here there is a good...More
