The impressive monument located at Victory Square is worth a visit. However the underground exhibition has much room for improvement. If I had a time travel machine, I would have skipped the underground museum.

If you visit the city you must visit the monument for photos.The statues are very good,a very moving monument to a sad time.

This monument may be off the beaten track in St Petersburg but it is well worth going to as it is a monument to the historic defenders of the city during the siege of Leningrad. Prepare to be moved by the experience.

Well worth a visit, thought provoking and informative. The brave people of Leningrad. Easy to find on the metro. Lots of information is in English.

This is an imposing, large, impressive monument you see on your way into town and made quite the first impression for me of St. Petersburg. I did not realize there was an underground aspect as well, and would return to visit this.
