A great area to live in St Petersburg as it’s so central to so many of the historical and cultural delights. Miles long you’ll need good walking shoes but you’ll not notice as there is something interesting to see at every step.

A very big street with shops of every kind to shop. A lot of people but a lot of cars too. Nothing special about it.

This must be one of the great avenues of the world. We walked the whole length ending at the artists cemetery. The whole Prospekt is lined with amazing buildings with fabulous histories.

Lucky enough to visit St.Petersburg this time in December, Nevsky Prospekt showed all its splendor with the beautiful Christmas decorations. Here you can find everything from the most exclusive shops and shopping malls to the finest delicatessen shops and cafes.
