Went in the middle of the day and while it was extremely crowded, we had no problem buying ticket and viewing the inside of the building. It is utterly amazing inside (let alone outside). Definitely worth the visit.
We visited this church as part of a two day tour with Maxi Balt Tours.
It was absolutely stunning inside.
A definite must see!!!

There are no seats in this church.you are expected to stand throughout the extended services.
There are some symbols from other religions and denominations in the church and of course this church includes the scene of the crime where Alexander11 was killed.

We hired a guide: Dasha from the Tour by locals who took us, with the driver Irina, to the main points of interest in St Petersburg as we visit Hermitage with its main attractions, Faberge museum, we went in the 3 main churches and we still had time for typical lunch and souvenirs.
