It looks like a classical temple with a golden dome from the outside and 112 columns. The 2nd highest ortodox church in the world. Its interior, with its large space and decorations, is able to shock You even more than the external complex...

Stunning exterior presence right on the square. Still signs of artilliary shell damage on columns. Beautiful old building that dominates the square.

What an amazing place, still used as a church on occasion. Absolutely incredible. The visit to the base of the dome is via a narrow spiral stairway but the views are worth it.

The city is full of museums and this one is unique on its own. The architecture itself takes the prize away.
