This museum is a must see. The paintings are beautiful and the doors are stunning. It was crowded, but we could still get around.

Beautiful golden dome. This masterpiece was designed by a French architect and was to resemble St Peters in Rome. It dominates the city center. It is one of the worlds largest cathedrals. There is a great view of the city from the top!

This is a very interesting place with a viewing area above and a cathedral and museum below. The view from top is great and the paintings below are just stunning. A must do for all

Impressive dome. The gold roofing in st Petersburg is unique and beautiful. Very ornate inside and how it was built at the time is cool. As Kevin Costner once said: “if you build it, they will pray.”

We didn’t go inside, but the outside is outstanding. The gilded dome is loosely based on St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, on a smaller scale, the overall impression is powerful.

Got there by a Sightseeing bus. A little bit expensive for international tourists, but still worth it. Couldn't believe there were 3 churches on this site before the final one. AMAZING!!!

This cathedral has an observation deck located at the heigh around the main dome. The view is amazing: all the city is visible from there.

This great piece of religious architecture has a lot to go for. From its magnificent exterior to the superb interior with great paintings and murals and the climb to the high roof when you have magnificent views of the St.Petersbourg buildings and landscape

It seems to me the rooftop of Saint Issac Cathedral is the only lookout of the city of St. Petersburg, I could be wrong. If you want an Instagram photo of the city, the rooftop of this church is the place to visit.

Sorry, I can't give you a precise answer for that. As we all know, St. Petersburg isn't only a popular tourist spot, but also a common itinerary of cruiseships. It's a matter of chance I guess. My advise is visit this... More
