Absolutely fabulous museum. It’s hard to see everything so prioritize what’s important for you. And you’re likely to get lost! But the map helps and rooms are numbered! Try lovely cafe with fresh sandwiches/cakes downstairs.

This is one of those museum that you can say was one of the best in the world. The highlights in the museum are quite extensive and I found no lows in viewing the exhibits here. DO-THIS! It is a MUST-SEE!
our tour guide said that the Hermitage ranks among the top museums in the world. He was not mistaken! This museum is grand and has such a vast collection that it requires five buildings to put just a small portion of their collection on display.
