Couldn't get enough of this beautifully restored structure. Glad that we were with tours as we could get early access without waiting in long lines. Spent two days and can't wait to go back!

And I wasn’t disappointed. How wonderful to walk around the palace and view the exhibits. It was part of a tour which was run by Insider Tour. A long day but well worth it.

This small-group tour of the Hermitage was one of the best group tours I've had. Our guide was so incredibly knowledgeable and she was patient with us taking photos and needing to take a quick break for coffee. This was definitely worth the money to...More

Something that you must see in St Petersburg. Easiest way to enter is by buying tickets from ticket automat besides the front enterance. Always something new to see.

The Hermitage is divided into three buildings and growing. We confined ourselves to paintings and a few sculptor rooms. We had only two days and spent roughly five (5) hours each before surrender. First - buy tickets online and go to side entrance—to avoid the...More

It is a wonderful museum, a must do in St Petersbourg. Huge, beautiful architecture. It took us an entire afternoon to "see everything" but for art and archeology lovers, better to plan 1 entire day or 2.

Fantastic, and apologies to the Russian peasant class who funded this display of opulence and wealth. It is a must do, and my wife visited the Treasury Gallery as well and was knocked out by the experience.

A must see for St Petersburg, the impressionist section is the best in the world. You could spend days there but I recommend a few hour each day. It can be overwhelming

Hi! Don't know about the guided tour at the entrance as we had booked through a local travel agent to procure the visa as well. The audio guide is pretty helpful though the museum is too big to be covered in a day & a guide... More
