The stroll around the monuments and gardens is beautiful and peaceful, enjoy the moment and the stories behind it.

This monument is for the victory and liberation of Novgorod from the Nazis. It remembers some of the units that fought there too. It has a tank and artillery cannons. It is right near the Kremlin and worth the walk to see.

This WWII monument was great. I could not read most of the Russian but there are lists of the units that fought to liberate the city (I think) as well as a light tank, some field guns, and a really neat integration of AA guns...More
