Full of different items made of amber, explaining all specifics of mining and production process this museum is a "must visit" in Kaliningrad. However museum lacks interactive parts which will keep kids dedicated, except searching little peaces of amber in bowl of sand :) Also...More

Really enjoyed this museum. Went to a few other places during my 1 day visit there, but this place was by far the most interesting of all the sites I saw there. There is a really good restaurant attached to the same building. Very interesting...More

The amber museum contains a lot of findings from the Kaliningrad area. Amber is a quite common thing to find here. But many of them have conserved insects very cool to see

So many pretty things! This museum is dedicated to all things amber. From jewelry to pictures to a violin all made from amber! Worth a visit to see these unique beauties.

Yes each exhibit has a short description in Russian as well as English. English speaking guides are also available.
