I was amazed, surprised, completely smitten away with what a good job they've done with this place. It's new, it's very modern and it's definitely something Vladivostok should be proud of. It was a weekday and there were quite a lot of people, so I...More

I write reviews hoping that the managers may rethink how they run their operation. The oceanarium is 5 star, great things to see, excellent scientifically, educationally and well curated, great for all ages and seemingly the fish appeared well cared for and as happy as...More

About 40 minutes from downtown by taxi. Must see show with animal's and dolphins. But you need to buy tickets before show. You can receive english language guide. Good free outdoor park. Shuttle bus going from parking to building every 30 minutes.

Well, as sea life places go this was certainly not run-of-the-mill. Extremely modern with use of some interesting technology. A large and very space-age building set on the beautiful Russky Island, this was commissioned by Vladimir Putin himself to be a centre of excellence in...More

Great looking building but unfortunately it was closed on Wednesday for school visits. Disappointing to see that there are captive dolphins but at least you can avoid it by purchasing a ticket that excludes the show if you care about animal welfare.

Recently opened this is a world class aquarium. Particularly interesting and well done was the exhibition on how the Earth was formed, and the evolution of life on Earth, There are life size models (some move!) excellent touch screens with information and several allow one...More

Excellent, brand new building with a large collection of animals, perfect educational content, great architecture and styling of buildings, large outdoor park and simply non-existing visitors facilities. There are no restaurants, only two small cafes inside, which are totally inadequate to a number of visitors....More

If you visited such places in other parts of the world, it will not surprise you. But its a really world class place with great sea and local river inhabitants' presentation.
