This park is not in the prime tourist area, but for every history (specially WWII) buff it's worth the extra effort reaching it in the western part of the capital. To make your journey more fulfilled and convince you seeing it, beside the park itself there's an amazing WWII Victory museum and near by (5-10 min walk) is the Triumphal Gate and the Borodino battle panorama museum (read my separate reviews on them).
The park is huge, adorned with many fountains, huge Soviet style monuments, lake with renting boats, walking paths and benches, as well many kiosks with fast food and drink options.
Bonus TIP: The metro station by the park is called "Park Pobedy". It is one of the most beautiful ones and the second deepest in the world, 84 m below ground).

A huge park devoted to the heroes of wars, very nicely designed with fountains and statues. It was very quiet when we came there, very clean and tidy too.

Constructed in honour of Russia’s victory in the Great Patriotic War (World War II), Park Pobedy offers powerful reminders of Russia’s suffering during the war as well as providing views over the skyscrapers of Moscow. The entrance to the park is marked by a long promenade surrounded by fountains, which leads up to a 142-meter high obelisk covered in representations of scenes from the war. Behind the obelisk there’s also a war memorial museum and further on down the hill an exhibition of tanks, war planes and other heavy weaponry. Beyond that the park stretches on into the forest and down towards a tributary of the Moscow River. It’s great for history buffs and also those who enjoy vast green spaces. Amazing place to walk around!

A large park combining several large areas: a huge alley of fountains, a large museum complex, a large forest with shady alleys. On the territory of the park, in addition to the museum, there are: an Orthodox church, a synagogue and a mosque, and soon there will be a Buddhist temple. You can choose from a variety of cafes to your taste. Since the area is large, you can rent a velomobile, bicycle, rollers.

Very sensitively organised museum presenting many facets of WW2 lies at the heart of this gigantic modern park just outside centre of Moscow.
I paid my 300rub and spent a happy 2 hours moving from room to room soaking up modern Russian history.
Spend time in the dioramas- they are really engaging. Also, there is a scene from Berlin which is stunning.
I did not pay 100rub to visit outside exhibits - one for next time.
I walked from Park Pobedy metro (at 84m it is deepest in Moscow) on yellow line to museum then on to Minskaya metro to make easy trip. Lots of good photos. Plenty of cafes and toilets on way.

When we visited this park was decorated for the New Year festivities. The park was full of enormous ice sculptures, a performance stage and a plethora of christmas trees and lights. Amazin evening spent here.

A brief walk from the Park Pabedi metro and you are in the Victory Park, it is a huge open space with some impressive statues, flower displays and fountains. You can see the Victory Museum in the distance but it seems like it takes an age to get there.

Not a destination on it's own but a nice place to walk through to get to the Victory Museum if that is your kind of thing.

a bit boring place. The arch is installed in a strange place - in the middle of the road. Not a good place to relax because it is very noisy
