This is a picture of the National Opera House, behind the camera is the other end of the square, the Orthodox Cathedral. Dramatic area, with nearly all buildings needing renovation work, but still lots of modern stores, gardens, fish fountain, and Roman wolf statue.

Beautiful Historical center reminds so much central Europe and not Balkans. So much recent history also . Very much enjoyable city center walking ride . Orthodox church (cant remeber exact saints name) with women monks was an experience to remeber.
