Very nice location to sit for a while and take a break from your trip. Otherwise, there's not much to do there. Can be overcrowded sometimes.

A very nice place in Timiswara, Romania to see . You can find shops or just enjoy the place and the architecture of the building !

The wavy pink and gray pavement in the square is quite interesting with a St. Mary statue, brass model of Old Town, a Calling Boy Statue.

This is one of the most unique ways to decorate a street that we have seen. It's a great photo opp and has several nice shops and cafes along the way. We also enjoyed the street musicians along the way as well.

the umbrellas aren't in Piata Libertatii (Liberty Sq.) they're in Strada Alba Iulia. Wheelchair Access - YES Do not be misled by the image of the colourful umbrellas - they are NOT in Piata Libertatii. They are to be found in Strada Alba Iulia. Less...More

If you are in Timisoara make sure you visit all three squares in the historical centre. This one also has great shops.
