We loved this beach with its shallow waters and soft sand. Coming from St Gilles les Bains where the beach is very small or covered with coral and the waters are much more aggressive (more for surfers), this was a welcome respite!

It is the best beach I have been to in La Réunion, and heard the same from some locals. Here are some of the reasons.. The sand is nice, the water is not too deep if you have children, good place for snorkling, and most...More

White sand beach scattered with bits of coral. You can swim out about 200 meters and there is plenty of underwater sea life to see at a constant depth of 1-2 meters and you don't have to worry about sharks here - but be wary...More

A white sandy beach, scattered with small rocks and broken pieces of coral following a recent storm. Now the Sun was shining and there were plenty of overhanging trees to provide shade, very natural and unspoilt. A few beach cafes/bars and rentable sun beds, but...More

Nice beach with a little bar to have a bite or a drink after visiting Jardín d'eden and watch the sunset. It also has and extensive swimming area. However, it tends to get a bit crowded.

Not as white as i imagined but perfect for a tan and a snorkel. You can find coral even all over the beach. Fishes are colorful and some really curious about the camera. Nice to have the trees so close by for some shade. A...More

A very long and beautiful beach in a huge lagune. No sharks (we are divers and have not seen sharks in Reunion :-)) as well there are no big waves. Good for snorkeling but be aware of the tiny picasso triggerfish. Take some sandals with...More
