Dinagyang Festival is one of the best in terms of dance contingent performance. The tribal dance competition is awesome. What I like is the presentation, the drums and their tribal attire. It reflect the Panay culture before Christianity.

IloIlo-a city with a characteristic, improvements are on-going but you can see the big progress. Most roads are 3 lanes both side and if there is a traffic it is moving. A non-smoking city and littering is against the law so it is very clean...More

I luckily joined 50th anniversary of this year festival. Highlights are on Last saturday and sunday of January. Unfortunately, the tickets for watching performances both Kasadyahan and ati atihan street dance were quickly sold out , and limited seats on 5 stages around the city....More

JCG806, as you mentioned, it s very hard to get tickets. the aim of those, was to promote philippines and its cities...to attract tourists, pinoy, but mostly worldwide. In Iloilo, it has a long time lost its aim, i got my tickets from my brother...More

It doesn't take more than 10 seconds to write and announce on Facebook that the tickets are not sold at the back of the Freedom Grandstand (announced a week earlier) but at Ledi's Supermart. Thanks for the confusion and wasting a lot of people's time....More
