Nice quit place beside the sea. If you like history you can read a lott on the walls . Lapu-Lapu was a warior who fought against the Spanish invation.

The flea markets near the shrine and the Sutukil concept restaurant are a must try!!! The flea market has a variety of souvenirs to offer!

We had a chance to visit this place during our family trip to Cebu! This is part of the classroom topic on Philippine History during my elementary days and finally got the opportunity to visit and see with my own eyes! Very Nice!

to know the history of Lapu-Lapu island. must negotiate for better price for souvenirs. T-shirts & singlets are of reasonable price.

At the north part of the Mactan island is memorial of the Mactan battle from 1521 between local men leaded by chieftain LapuLapu and Spanish invaders leaded by Ferdinand Magellan. Locals won and Ferdinand Magellan was killed on that very place. There is a statue...More

The address is Punta Engano Road it is 7.1 km from the Marcelo Fernan Bridge it is north east up the Quezon National Highway. I hope this helps.
