Mactan Shrine surrounded by a small garden, besides is a fish village have a small jetty. There are many stalls selling souvenirs on the periphery, price is reasonable.

Great place to visit, especially at early evening because you get the best "golden hour" photos of the statue

If you are there anyway have a look. But it is not worth a detour. Clean, some green plants and Lapu Lapu as a statue. That is it.

I wouldn't make a special trip to see this, but we were staying within walking distance of this monument, so worth the time. It may have been more interesting/educational if we had a guide or been on a tour as there is no information available...More

Its a very small area with some stalls selling souvneirs. Probably might not spend more than an hour before going off. But its alright to go for once :)

Peaceful, clean and safe place to walk around. If you like garden or beach view then you will have both.

After visiting the Magellan Cross we stop by here and did some souvenir shopping there are many foreign tourists here...it’s a must to visit a very a very historical place.. the place where the Spaniard explorer Ferdinand Magellan was killed in April 1521

very historic and have couple of good gift shops ,a must try restaurants on the sea side ,best of fish and sea food better early than night ,near to Shangri-La and Hilton hotels .nice barbecue and soups ,

Its nice statue. on hot days I recommend you take and umbarella with you cos the place does not offer a lot of shadows

The address is Punta Engano Road it is 7.1 km from the Marcelo Fernan Bridge it is north east up the Quezon National Highway. I hope this helps.
