I visited here with my girlfriend on my trip to the Philippines. It's a nice place for couples or families to take a stroll. I came at night, and the lights were beautiful

Visited shrine in evening, witness preparation for coming festival for the shrine. Walk around park for souvenirs. Other side you find dinner for different seafood restaurant. Needs improvement in sanitation and cleanliness.

Great history of the battle between King Lapu Lapu and the Spanish conquistadors. My wife and I really enjoyed learning about the background of the island of Cebu. Our guide was very helpful.

Same park as the Magelken shrine. This statue is very good and well maintained. But as a Premier Tourist attraction, the council could do more to entertain the people.

This is located within Magellan’s Shrine. Basically it is a statue facing the sea wherein they held the battle. Our tour guide told us that a resthouse of the ex-President Gloria Arroyo is located just outside the statue.

Interesting and very crowded place. But the statue of Lapu Lapu is not as big as it is said. You can get many authentic gift items. Do not forget to negotiate but it is already quite cheap.
