Visited this place in a pure serendipity with my husband. Stories we heard were cool but they should keep this place nice and clean, kinda disappointed about the trash around.

Nice commerative shrine but a pity that it is not kept clean and free from weeds etc. Slot if Tourists visit this park where the shrine is and it should be kept in a better condition.

We actually found this place by walking and exploring the area around our resort. It was a pleasant surprise and learned more about Magellan and how he died and Lapu Lapu as a Filipino hero. There's nice views of a river in the area plus...More

I never thought that I would be in this historical place which I only read in history books in my grade school days. Inside the Mactan Shrine park is the bronze statue of Lapu- lapu. It was awesome! The place is spacious, good for strolling...More
