Beautiful Altar
For a quite and solemn pray visit at the back of altar their is a stair beside the church going up.. to escape the hustle and bustle of tourists and pilgrims.

I'm a devotee of Our Lady of the Rule/Nuestra SeƱora Virgin de Regla since 2016 after I was invited by my dearest friend, Atty Orpha Casul to pray for the miracle in my Japan business visa application. In just 3 consecutive days (instead of 15 working days set by the Japan Embassy) on Her feast day, November 21, 2016, I was given my first Japanese visa and flew to Tokyo to attend the international screening of my film, "Ina-Tay".

In 2017, I received a debt settlement offer letter from the bank that my huge debt of the credit card due to non-payment for 8 long years reduced to the lowest amount and was given a big discount. Then, suddenly the money comes out of the blue and I successfully settled my financial obligations as "debt-free".

In 2018, I prayed that I will be able to personally witness on my two naked eyes the coronation of the 4th Filipina Miss Universe in Catriona Gray at Impact Arena, Moang Thung Thani, Bangkok, Thailand at the live coronation show of the 2018 Miss Universe Pageant. My prayer was granted!

In 2019, I deeply prayed for the Divine Mercy Pilgrimage at the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, Lagiewniki, Krakow, Poland to offer a Thanksgiving Mass after my miraculous painless major surgery. I received a call on December inviting me to have a pilgrimage in the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, Krakow, Poland in times of the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress 2020 in Budapest, Hungary after the 51st edition here in Cebu City last 2016.

It's A Must For Roman Catholics Visiting The Sto. NINO De CEBU Basilica ; To DO A Side-Trip To The Quaint #CityOfLapulapu ; For A Brief Pilgrimage Trip To The National Shrine Of The Our Lady Of RULE.

This Can Be A Form Of Plenary Sacrifice , Particularly For Abled-Bodied MARIAN Devotee/s ; If They Are To TROOP The Said SHRINE Via A 20-Minute FERRY BOAT Ride At Cebu City's PIER # 3. The Said SERVICE Is Currently RUN By METRO Ferry , Inc.

It's a bit painstaking as compared to the Comforts Of Simply Hiring A Taxi Cab. Because It's Considered Public Mass Transport For Locals.

However ,FOLKS Who Are Senior Citizens and PWD'S of course , as a matter of courtesy , can OPT To HIRE A CAB or Any Private Vehicle ; So As Not To Inconvinience Them In Any Manner.

Have A Blessed Day To ALL !

Virgen sa Regla Shrine in Mactan is visited by pilgrims. Believers offer prayers for good intentions through the intercession of the Blessed Mother.

It was my first time to visit the church as an adult (and almost a senior citizen at that). Years back when I was a child, my father (may he rest in peace) used to bring us kids to this church that had a black Mary as patron. People say the Virgin's intercession is miraculous, hence, plenty of devotees go there for their intentions.

We got there at around 9PM and I heard the caretaker say, "let's close for now". Luckily, we were still admitted and lo and behold, there was a long queue towards the Virgin image even at that late hour, people silently waiting for their turn to venerate.

After lighting a candle, paying my respects and saying my intentions for my God through the Mother's intercession, we made our way out to the market to catch a ride, where a lot of people were standing in every corner waiting for their ride, too. And it was already around 10PM!

Anyway, the experience was sort of a 'bunot-tinik'; I felt great relief that I was able to revisit the church and expressed my sincerest prayer for the total recovery of my brother back home who's in an unresponsive wakefulness state. May the Lord hear my plea.

'Para akong nabunutan ng tinik sa dibdib'. I felt like a spot in my heart was pierced. Sentimental lang...

Most people still come here for their pledge. I heard some also would come here to guide them during national board examinations could it be for education or nursing or any courses they like to passed during the examination.

I do not know what happened but i heard many times they will visit this parish for guidance.
