A group of sixty plus friends did a quad bike and dune tour with Fanie Du Preez from this company. Fanie was very helpful in us mastering the quad bikes, and his dune tour was fascinating. He educated us on all of the dune creatures and flora. He has an extensive knowledge of past communities who lived in the area hundreds of years ago, and we were shown many artefacts from this time. I highly recommend using this company to do a quad bike experience and to learn about the secrets of the dunes .

Something for everyone—quad bike fun for the kids, history for the adults, and plenty of ecology and exploration for us all! It was one of the better full-family fun tours we’ve ever been on.

Absolutely incredible tour with something for everyone. Our three children enjoyed the quad bikes, and adults were treated to a fascinating history of the region by the incredibly knowledgeable Stephanus. The shifting sands leave a constantly evolving landscape that expose and cover up old archeological sites. Stephanus has an eagle eye to find the most interesting artifacts in the sand, and he has a botanist-like ability to identify every plant and animal in the area. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Fanie started his tour by giving us a quick lesson on how to operate his automatic quad bikes. Soon thereafter we where in the dunes.Fanie is passionate and knowledgeable about the desert in this area. As the desert is ever moving, different layers of matter are exposed at different times and each layer has a different story to tell. Showing us artifacts from the different communities that inhabited these parts, his input was fascinating. Plants, animals and birds didn't go unnoticed in this harsh terrain. This tour was informative and great fun and worth every cent. Highly recommended

Fanie took two friends and myself on a 4-hour trip in the Namibian desert located nearby Walvis Bay. Despite the recreational quad activities (like dune slide), Fanie took the time to share his knowledge in the desert about animals, centennial graveyards, vegetation and Namibian history. The full trop was a mesh of Fanie's explanation and driving within the dunes in the desert. Fanie is a very knowledgeable guide and he will teach you a lot during this tour. I am glad to have booked with him and to have met him. Thanks a lot again Fanie
