We are now 24 hours home after the most magnificent adventure with Truly Africa Tours. Our group of 4 persons (2 couples) have spent 14 days touring with flights arranged, land travel, accommodations, transfers in four different locations- and every single element of these travel arrangements were better than perfect. The first stop of the holiday at Victoria Falls included a guided tour of the Falls area, and a cruise on the Zambezi river in the afternoon and into the sunset- wined and dined. Absolutely memorable and smoothly organised, with vouchers ready at the hotel reception for our activities. The hotel itself was beautiful- the David Livingstone Lodge- also selected by Truly Africa Tours. We moved (by perfect transfer) to Kisane/Chobe and stayed in the The Old House B&B, adjacent to the Chobe river, with their very own warthog population on site. Again, the transfers and accommodation were all arranged by Truly Africa and were seamless. The Old House was a change in venue to the original booking- but turned out to be a real treat. The place had its own small boat for safari cruises (which were included in the package- and BRILLIANT). We also did driving safari in Kasane- again way beyond expectation, with a lovely coffee stop in the bush in the early morning. Transfer from Kasane to the Okavango Delta (Oddballs camp) was via private air transfer. We were treated like royalty- handed over to the pilot (at Kasane airport) and taken directly to Oddballs camp. Several days in Oddballs were filled with walking and canoe (wooden dug out crafts- Mokoro) safaris, and totally excellent meals. Again, way beyond our expectation in terms of organisation. Transfers out of the area were just as skilful, with private flights to Maun. We moved on to Namibia (via Johannesburg)- all organised by Truly Africa Tours. All super organised. Arriving at Windhoek we were met by Martinez (which we shorted to Martin) and Linkie- both involved with the transfer to Sossousvlei (Sesreim camp). I had upset tummy and a visit to the doctor was arranged by our guides, at short notice, and in the most accommodating manner. After a restful night in the Vineyard B&B, we drove to Sesreim- a 5 hour journey, broken up with excellent pit stops, and fed with information about the area. Martin is a most knowledgeable and kind guide. The camp at Sesreim was unbelievable. The lads set up tents, made up stretcher like beds and cooked magnificent meals (No Exaggeration). Breakfast had cooked mushrooms, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelette, bacon, toast, cereals, juices, fresh fruit, tea/coffee. An endless supply of bottled drinking water was there for us. We were taken to Sesreim Canyon for a walk on day 1 and to the glorious and stunningly beautiful dunes at Sossousvlei to climb at sunrise. A breakfast was cooked at the foot of Dune 45 after the climb, then on to Deadvlei. After three days, we were transferred back to Windhoek airport by the patient and incredibly capable Martin. The level of skill and organisation which we experienced on this trip, together with the fabulous food deserve all the superlatives in the above description. Beyond words- Perfect. Thank you Kate for your wonderful organising and Martin & Linkie for the terrific guiding, cooking and care. We will be back!!!

My partner and I travelled around South Africa, Botswana and Zambia with Truly Africa. Kate was our Travel Consultant and she was brilliant. Any issues we had, she did her absolutely best to rectify the situation immediately - which exceeded our expectations. The planning for our trip was seamless; nothing was a problem and the trip was totally flexible around our schedule and requirements. Kate is a total professional and I will definitely be using Truly Africa for any of our upcoming future African holidays. Thank you again! You helped make this amazing trip even more special!

We had the best experience using Kate from Truly Africa to plan our first trip to Southern Africa. For 12 days we visited Botswana, Zambia and South Africa. Kate took care of everything. We just told her what we wanted to experience and she arranged all our accommodations, activities, transportation and domestic flights. Kate even checked in on us while we were in Africa to make sure we were okay and moving along the itinerary smoothly. We never had to worry about anything. We had all our pick-ups on time, everyone was friendly and each accommodation was comfortable, safe and secure. We would definitely recommend using Truly Africa to plan your trip. Just ask for Kate!

Just returned home from the most fantastic adventure due mainly to the good fortune of friends recommending Truly Africa. The itinerary they organised for our eleven days was exceptional mixing majestic scenery, great wild life viewing in three very different environments and excellent accommodation all the way. To top this off we had Martin, Martin's rapport with the locals wherever we went meant we were greeted with broad smiles and extra warmth. We are a couple in our seventies, travelling with Martin was like travelling with a very caring son with an extensive knowledge of the people and wild life we encountered. This was a private tour at a lower cost than the group tours we were contemplating before receiving the recommendation to go with Truly Africa, advice I am only too happy to pass on.
