    Convenient Shopping Mall
A convenient shopping mall to visit not from from flic en Flac beach . We spent a few hours here looking around while also purchasing some essential goods. They had a small food court, large supermarket and we were surprised to see a Woolworths .nice toy shop to buy some gifts and a McDonald’s .we got a hotel taxi here rather than local buses . Times have changed and you need to be careful about your safety so recommend taxi being the best mode of travel if you are a tourist . There is a large car park too . Recommend 2 to 3 hours maximum .

    Cascavelle Mall
We visited here a few times on the bus from the Sands. There is a Winners store, some places to eat and a few other shops. We went to Winners to buy stuff, and also ate at few of the places. It is not the best mall in Mauritius but useful if you are staying in the area.

    Food wasn’t tasty
Mr Miyagi at Cascavelle Mall Food Court Mauritius. My friend and myself were planning a lunch for quite a long time as we were both very busy. Finally we managed to make it and we’re both excited to meet and spend quality time together. So we both met at Cascavelle Mall and then we both decided to have lunch there itself. We were looking at the different options and then she suggested let’s go to Mr Miyagi as she likes their noodle soup and toppings. As I also enjoy noodles we went there and we both ordered our noodles. We were seated in the food court and luckily it wasn’t crowded. Our meals were ready and there came piping hot noodle soup with chicken teriyaki, vegetable and meat dumplings. My fried noodles looked good too. Both bowls were cracked on the top and it’s unhygienic to serve in them. We were enjoying each other’s company and had so much to catch up on. My friend enjoyed her noodle soup and dumplings. Whereas my fried noodles were not great as it wasn’t prepared and stir fried properly. It was cold and lacked cooking. They just made it very hastily without paying attention to the cooking time and quality. It wasn’t to my taste and expectations. What a pity! I don’t see myself eating there again!!! The greatest part was that my friend and myself had lovely moments together.

This is a medium size but expanding mall on the sunny west coast of Mauritius. It is convenient and has all the necessary goods. A worthwhile visit where you avoid the crowds.

It has all the basics: a supermarket, shops selling clothes, toys, jewellery, perfumes, books etc as well as McDonalds and a bowling alley

When I heard yet another mall was going to be opened in Mauritius I was not the most thrilled. Cascavelle Shopping Village however has been well designed with its trees and spacious alleys. It is really a mall that gives you the feeling of getting away from noise and disruption and on most days is not too crowded. You have nice views of nearby sugar fields and trees.

The other positive aspect is that the food outlets and stores are not just copycats of outlets that exist in other malls. Olive Tree in particular is a favourite of mine, the Illyco Coffee is quite good also.

Just 5 kilometres from Flic en Flac and plenty of cafes and eating places. It is pleasant and well kept. The Winners supermarket is large and cheaper than others in central Flic en Flac.
