We arrived at Selenkay a couple of days after the rain and could see the green breaking through the desert soil. Selenkay has a harsh beauty and a bounty of animals. Not only were there hundreds of gazelle, the giraffe were amazing as well as...More

This is exactly the sort of understated camp we like. It was comfortable - large en-suite tents with bucket showers and really comfortable beds. The wildlife viewing was exceptional not just in the park, but also just around camp - as we sank a beer...More

Masai giraffe, elephants, and a pride of 12 lions were the animal highlights we saw here. Many other animals as well.

As a private conservancy next to the Amboseli, with only one small bushcamp, it is the perfect place to have the Amboseli game to yourself, without the crowd of Minivans etc.

The conservancy is like having your own private animal viewing site. 1 minute after stepping off the plane we saw a giraffe looking at us from 50 yards and had a gazelle run by. It only got better after that.

Selenkay Conservancy is full of Kenya's wonderful wildlife and as there are only a couple of accomodation choices you are mostly on safari on your own. We were able to get so close to animals and our guides knew how to best approach the wildlife...More

Thanks to our wonderful Masai guides based at the Porini Amboseli camp we were able to tour here and see so many amazing animals, plants and spectacular views that it was hard to leave.

If you want your safari to be perfect go to a conservancy. Selenkay conservancy was the first conservancy we visited in Africa and we absolutely fell in love. You can follow the wildlife off road and actually be the only car around which I think...More

I think maybe you have not seen the full itinerary details as we recommend a minimum of 2 nights and ideally 3 nights at the Porini Camps. In fact we offer reduced rates if people stay a minimum of 6 nights at 2 camps. TA do... More
