I went solo for this trip., and was not able to get inside but i did see it from the bay side., looks mysterious and just a peaceful aura :)

Went in mid-December and had the entire place to ourselves. The temple grounds are rather small, but there's nothing stopping you from walking out to the floating temple and gazing out at Lake Biwa for as long as you like.

Even this temple is small, I could spend 2 hours in it. The view is stunningly beautiful. There's not much people even it's holiday. The floating hall is amazing. You can get to feel closer to the lake and absorb the scenery with cool breeze....More
