Largest wooden building, huge timber arches, big Buddha- truly awesome when you try to come to grips with the tasks of building these. It is a very popular site so patience is required but worth it.

Its a lot bigger than I expected, it was busy but it did not feel busy because of the amount of space, make sure you take a look at the replica models inside the temple and talk to the volunteer guides inside the temple.

Well worth a visit. Quite a bit of interest apart from the large Buddha. A beautiful temple and you stroll through a lovely park to get there.

At the Nara park there are many temples, but this one is really the must visit. The building is very nice, big wooden columns, a huge Buddha and worriers.

Their website is saying they are opening on all the day, so you will be alright. However, they close at 17:00 (you need to get a ticket by 16:30). Hope you have a great trip!
