Akishinodera temple is off the beaten track and a very nice and peaceful temple complex. There were not a lot of tourists when we were there. Serene!

This is a beautiful place to be, because all the nature will collude with you and come up with a master plan for inviting you to breath with them!

Be sure to spend a whole day in Nara and see all the temples if you can. They are a lot less crowded than Tennoji temple and they are really nice all year around for a stroll.

A walk through of this temple is a delightful experience. The ground in the wooded area of the temple is coverd throughly by moss. There is also an interesting statue in the main hall.

This temple is not in walking distance from any other landmark. Either take a bus or a cab, but it is worth visiting. It's different from other temples in Nara. Very quiet, not crowded at all, and there is a Goddess inside the temple which...More
